HIya guys. I'm back on the job hunt in Washington. My old job was a bust, and I was thankfully let go. However I found that Atari is hiring some "Technical Support Representatives". It basicly sounds like call center work, but that's right up my alley. Anyone here know anything about working the working conditions there?
I really like it, funny enough i've been looking for inspiration for an alley scene and you just give me some. I like the last one the best, the lighting and atmosphere is much more interesting, the others i think are rellying more on natural lighting than artifical. keep it up.
this is rad! It's funny I was watching van helsing making of stuff on the dvd, and I saw how cool the Mr. Hyde Model was and I was thinking how cool it would be to make a sort of back alley english thug type guy, and this inspires me even more!! Great stuff and welcome to Polycount!
ok I like the idea of the truck up front but the building that is circled still needs to be seen what I have in the current concept is that the truck is pointing your eye down that alley towards the market/resturant building?
that looks awesome. really interesting looking environments and the rpg/fps gameplay looks right up my alley. yea the eye tracking was weird and facial animation stiff but thats usually some of the last stuff to be polished, so hopfully it gets tightened up. cant wait for this game.
Ah, this is fantastic. I've been into handtools a lot lately, so this is right up my alley. Some very good wood texturing going on; particularly the chisel handles, and the box itself. The hammer outside the box is the only one I dislike; it has some stretching or something that makes it feel very CG.
if they were building a city in a similar location today i would be inclined to agree, but in the 1700's a city near the ocean with a river which empties into the ocean it looks like a great idea for a port town. now the people who keep making their trailer home villages in tornado alley, now thats stupid
Well im a sucker for stylized stuff so that last one is right up my alley. but yeah, if you work in black and white and then add color later it explains a lot =P I think what you could do is ad colors a lot earlier in your painting progress.
Welcome aboard! And yea like Zwebbie said, Blender's due for a new build soon. Past that Id maybe try Nevercenter Silo and/or Luxology Modo as low cost (comparatively) alternatives to the 'big' packages. This might be up your alley also: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=74849
