Well, looks like there is a lap belt in the left side of the seat. I just don’t get how this modeling and UVing and baking at this amount of detail was completed in two weeks, seems fishy to me. Maybe possible though? Would love to be proven wrong though! -

why must I decide?
I see in every portfolio critique to focus on one or the other, character or environment. Now would this be true for someone not aiming to be in the industry ? If your goal is to one-up the design with modern vfx while paying homage to the original (and have a burning desire to do so) then go for it. It's art after all, you should make something that interests you. Otherwise If you're primarily wanting to have a high quality character model for a portfolio, then you may be better… -
