Edit: Because we are a small team, we have already received more applicants than we can handle. Thank you very much for understanding as we go over everyone who has replied and respond to them in a timely manner.
Hello, I am creating a VR Escape-room game. We need a second 3d artist as we have more assets to produce than the primary artist has time for. The game's tone is horror and is Lovecraft inspired but not directly set in the Lovecraft universe. You can see our announcement trailer at the website here: http://www.hush-game.com/
None of the assets in the trailer are meant to be used in the final game.
Here are the important technical details:
*Using substance for textures
*Working in Unreal
*Primary artist is working in maya but you don't have to
Need someone with experience creating high quality realistic props and environment pieces for real time applications.
You will be working from written descriptions and creating your own design with a realistic style. We have a general vision for the game but if you are used to working with concept art and following it closely that isn't what we are doing here. You will need to be able to create your own designs and rough them out to be approved before creating final assets.
Assets will generally be in a dungeon grimy location, you will be creating old objects.
VFX experience is a plus.
Please pm me your portfolio if interested.
