Intro
A cool new ppm from the author of Bananas In Pajamas. This time Dan Ward decided to create a more serious character. Originally started as an ostrich with rider, this riderless, Alienesque creature is well done and should be a fun model play as (or against).
Originality
There's not too many chicken-legged models out there, so it's a nice change. However, due to the shape of its head, it reminds me too much of Giger's Alien. On the bright side, I like that Alien :-) Overall, very original.
Score: Nine
The Model
A good mesh, with very good use of polygons. He's really well designed all over, from the shape of his head, to the spikey things on his back, to his bird-like feet. His dimensions are perfect. One problem I had with this guy is that his center of gravity seems to be a bit too far forward. Judging by the size of his head, it looks like he would fall flat on his face. However, this is a minor point, and isn't noticable in the game.
Score: Eight
The Animations
Some of the animations were really well done, while others could have used some work. I really like the crouch animations, where he gets down and supports himself with his hands - very cool. The taunt animation was also cool, but I found that the others were rather plain. There was nothing seriously wrong with them, but there was also nothing seriously cool about them either.
Score: Seven
The Skin
As the author states in the readme: "the skin is just a mix of textures from other skins which i think work pretty well". Unforunately, it isn't really the author's work (well, not entirely anyway), so I'll have to deduct some points, but I must admit that it worked out really well. There was a careless problem with a Null Skin error on the weapon though.
Score: Six

Visible Weapons Support
N/A - Sligg's arm is his weapon.
