Gear Rating: 8 Download baseq2/players/gear    Intro Shortly after joining this page I had made a bet that their would be less than 20 models made by early march, and nearly all of them would be robots. As time would have it I was totally wrong on both counts with the number of robots equaling a fraction of the number of 'alive' models.. Anyway Gear is pretty cool, born from a disapointment with Activisions latest mech game. Originality It's a gear, from Heavy Gear by Activision. The Model Looks almost perfect, If you can spot an error in Q2, you aint playing hard enough:). Score: Ten The Animations The animations are classy, some exceeding the high quality animations in the game heavy gear, on which this model is based. The only reason it doesnt have 5 stars here is from duplicate animation for the taunt and flip. Score: Eight The Skin The skin looks pretty good considering it only uses about 4 colours.
