Intro
It a real pity that this model isn't going to get a high rating, because I am in love! BigNose is an incredibly neat and original model - also lots of fun to play against (despite its bounding box problems). BigNose is just that - a big nose with a pair of googly eyes attached.
Originality
As I said, an incredibly original idea. Totally worth its five star rating (hard not to get more unique/original than a gigantic nose...).

The Model
Well, its a big nose. Umm...not exactly a complex mesh to make. Also, BigNose protrudes pretty far forward, and floats pretty high. Hence his relation to the bounding box is a little tenuous. !DeMoLiShEr! deserves credit for keeping things small. While it's hard to create a high polygon mesh when working with an idea this simple, I've seen it done before (can anyone say "Tentacle?"). I can see BigNose becoming the PPM workhorse of low octane deathmatch machines:-)

The Animations
The animations are smooth and full of character. Being a nose and all, BigNose isn't very tough to animate in the mechanical sense. However, instilling character into a model this simple is a challenge, and one that's been well met.

The Skin
The skin is appropriate, but incredibly simple. Rating such skins is frustrating as I really like to mark on how marvelous the work done on the skin is (detail, placement of highlights, overall look and feel). BigNoses' skin didn't really require much effort/talent to make, but if the author had put something complex/fancy on him, it just wouldn't have been the same. With a heavy heart, I give it 3 stars. I'd really like to see a big skinpack made for this guy - there are some suggestions in his readme file.
