hi! I decided I wanted to redesign irelia. I mostly do portraits or static poses, so I’m using this to get out of my comfort zone.
heres some previous LoL fan art I’ve done, and some Irelia sketches I did on my iPad. I wanna work on her armor more, but i want to figure out a pose first. Knowing me, I’ll draw up a million more poses before I choose. I’m super indecisive lol.

Some clothing designs I did last night. The second one is the closest to her current design, so I’m trying to decide if I should do something completely different like they do when redesigning champs!
the outfit i chose....still gonna tweak it a bit...and the 2 poses im between. now i gotta work on her blade and floaty mantle of decodum thing!

backgrounds are really hard for me.....trying to decide the best composition. while i wait on those....i'll be making the blade and mantle.

i really should be focusing on the background and weapons.... but i got carried away with her face haha.
1. her face is too big. Try to scale it a little closer to propotions
2. In casual gaming, specially mobas better to paint cute/non agressive faces to girls, easier to say: in any emote she must look a bit sexy, even if she is a warrior woman. Try to make emotion softer, it will remove negative feeling from looking at her. Such strong emotes looks better in group fight scene or in comics.
