Hello everyone,

I have recently set myself to model Nissa for the fun of it, and to get a new char portfolio pieces. Here are some of my refs :

Inspired myself of Gigi, but I did not attempt a likeness (yet), I might do that if I don't get a good face. Tried to do my own mix of all these ref. I'm trying to do the best human body I can so I have a solid base for clothing, and also for training purpose.

Here is what I have come with in a couple of days . I tried to model mainly at low rez and get a good silhouette before adding details. I'm a bit stuck, because I want it to be subtle , but I can't seem to have anything satisfying yet, its either smooth and lifeless or heavy modeled and cartoonish/ stylized if I overdo trim/clay. ( I kept the smoother version here).

I don't know how to add details such as crease and skin fold without making it like wax and kinda overdoing the silhouette. Any tips on that?
I Have kept it in matcap Grey because this  is how I see the sculpt most of the time, but I'm open to any critic on prez , if it can help to see the model better and form better.

The face is the part I have spent the most time in, Its the part closest to finish. I don't mind if you give me wild critics, I just want to improve. Cheer :)

My suggestion is to not use prospective till you blocking
Also initially will be much easy to block in straight lines later on you can do the same with curve or just smooth straight line and adjust to mach your reference

@carvuliero Thanks a lot :) I tried your suggestion and it actually helped me to adjust the silhouette. I didn't know ortographic could be used this way for character, I always though you had to start straight in persp (Was really hard to use turn around this way).
By the way I checked the other anatomy thread and I found some wonderful reference you posted there ! Thanks for that. Where did you find this kind of image? This chick is hot . And you can see every nook and crannies and details, so cool for modeling skin texture !!

So here is the actual sculpt , its starting to feel more solid. I Think I have some work left on the limbs, then I'll try to fine tune the whole thing.
    Any though?

Reference is of one of many wannabes pornstar/nude model girls from czechcasting
If you want I can teach you how to prepare your reference this way so is more suitable for sculpting
Looks like you have too many polygons for the stage you are in (check first attach image see how big polygons are , whole body with arms is under 200k)
My suggestion is to hide/cut arm and head and work on the body - make sure your proportions are what you want them to be also work on big shapes first (you don't even need breast at this stage) make something similar to second image - simplified but anatomical accurate model for a start , if you have solid base you can morph it in to any character you want

Okay, look legits for the girl's ref.

For the sculpting, most of it was actually done at 20k/80k polys, I added a last subdivide level to get a smoother look.

Thanks for the ref, i'll look into that.

Yeah you can pick and choose at your disposal just be mindful of camera lens/prospective distortion , also angle images are shot from
