[WIP] Character - African Militant

Hey guys,
Looking to add to my portfolio and get better. I've never done a black character and need to brush up on my Maya modelling skills, I thought an African militant would cover those areas well.
The aim is to have a bust shot with a weapon resting on his shoulder. I've not decided on a weapon yet, but I'm 100% confident there are like 15+ AK-47 Maya tutorials on YouTube.
This is what I got so far. CC welcome. Also if anyone has reference images or cool ideas Id love to see/hear.

Started blocking in some decorative necklace accessories, still WIP

Just be careful not to overdo it..
