Hi, guys. I want to share my work in progress for a personal project that I'm doing for my first portfolio, I'm learning to model from scratch by myself for the last year. Modeling and UV mapping are done in Maya and I have just started texturing in Mari. Please give me any critics

Decent start

title your thread better.

Youre gonna want to figure out a way to make this cabin stand out. Is it a hunting cabin? Sex cabin? Food storage? Herbalist hut? Tell a story, make it worthy of its existence.

It's heading in the right direction, but rendering needs more work. Have you taken reference from Pacific Northwest American scenes of fog? That may help you get a better sense of what to hit.

Or the game Alan Wake.

Right now it's reading like the rendering Silent Hill 1 had with the fog.

I did't check references just found the image in google and tried to match with fog option in Arnold render preferences. Rendering is my weakest things atm, so I'm going to grab some courses to understand it better.
