Help me with hair

Hi. I'm creating hair for the first time and it's look ugly. I don't know what to do. I'm rendering in marmoset toolbag 3.

I don't know why my alpha texture don't working.

In the transparency module, Use Albedo Alpha is checked, which is why the alpha isn't working. If you uncheck that, it will use the texture you have loaded.

There is a quick reference section for hair at the bottom if you don't want to watch the whole video. It's for Toolbag 2 as well but much of it still applies.

try something other than PNG to store your alpha mask in. if you are exporting from photoshop, PNG with alpha can be iffy.

Ah right, use the channel dropdown to select something other than A (alpha channel), like R.
