Solved: DDO ID Presets, cannot pick anything besides "desktop" ?

Hey Quixel team, just now I tried baking down the various Materials from the swatch FBX to a plane and then importing the texture as a color id map in DDO - unfortunately I can't pick anything in the "ID Preset" dropdown except for a shadily-named "desktop" preset, which gives me a fat load of nothing. Wanted to experiment with DDO's automatic splitting according to in-built materials linked to the colors of the swatch.

Any help?

Did you create an ID preset, or are you just trying to have the colors auto-assign to specific materials?

I didn't create a preset, no - I was trying to quick-assign the colors from the swatch fbx to premade quixel materials, if you get what I'm trying to say.
I was under the impression that it'd do it automatically? (And I did find various Material presets coded to colors in the various Quixel folders)

Did you follow the color ID primer series? This should help clarify the process.

Well, the thing is, my dropdown "ID Presets" is empty, all it says is "desktop". There should be at least a couple presets provided, right?

Indeed there should be - I would recommend reinstalling the SUITE using the latest installer available from http://www.quixel.se/suite - let me know if that clears it up for you.

I uninstalled and reinstalled yesterday, yeah

Also checked registry entries, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary..

Where is SUITE installed on your machine?

To the best of my knowledge (and the timestamps seem to confirm it) : C:\Program Files\Quixel SUITE 2.0

Could you try installing to a new directory and see if that fixes this?
