[SD] Grouped Outputs Connecting Wrong

I've been having an issue connecting nodes together that have a labeled group of output channels.

Material Blend for example has all the input and output channels grouped as "Material", as indicated by the shaded capsule around all the connection points.  Nodes that come with Designer seem to work just fine.

However, when I create my own graph with the same grouping, the nodes never seem to connect properly.  Here's a shot of what commonly happens:

The height output (left) always gets put into the baseColor input (right) and all other channels are ignored.  When in "material" view mode (hotkey 2) I also do not get the connectors for the entire group as I click and drag one of the connection points.

It's a small annoyance since it doesn't take much time to connect each channel manually, but it would be great if this feature worked with my custom graphs as it does with default nodes.  Any insight with this issue would be appreciated.

Thanks
