buying a used wacom

Hi All

Have been using a wacom bamboo tablet for a few years now but have lost the pen and a new pens are stupid prices. So i`m thinking of getting a used Wacom Intuos 3 for the same price as a pen. Just wondered if anyone is using these with windows 10 and maya/photoshop/3dsmax without any issues?

You should be able to see if the drivers on the site support windows 10. If you can, I'd get the 4-5, the 3 is pretty old to be getting used. I don't usually use the tablet in any 3D apps either.

They're useful in these applications as long as you can change the settings for your buttons per program. Which you should check if that's possible. I wouldn't recommend a pen tablet for Maya or 3ds Max though, it sounds great, but it's... really not.
I sometimes even hate to use my tablet for Zbrush, especially when trying to alter sth. via deformation tab.

I use a Wacom Intuos 3 on Windows 10 with no issues whatsoever. I think you'd be fine!
