Drunk Polycounters

I have wandered home from the bar many a time quite inebriated and felt the need to peruse the forums before I pass out. Sometimes I give sane advice to some problem, or sometimes I rail on some poster because they ask a question that triggered a pet peeve of mine.

The next day I wake up dreading a reply from EQ in the thread informing me of my bad advice about baking normals or something along those lines.

I'm writing this while relatively tipsy, but wondering if anyone else has had any drunken polycount encounters?

The trick is to drink a lot of a long period of time ( Let's say years) that eventually no one can tell the difference anymore.

Yeah I have posted druk a few times, but after reading the posts back the next day there was no difference to my normal posts!

Some of the art I see get posted to WAYWO makes me wonder how sober some users are.

Penis Tank comes to mind, though I think that was 2013 or 2014. haven't seen much crazy stuff this year.

I normally have a rum in hand at this time of the evening (about 9/10pm) which is when I wind down the day with a relaxing catch-up on Polycount.

I've never posted when absolutely hammered though.

Yeah thankfully I've never had that urge. I usually make a fool of myself in the real world when I get drunk, and MAYBE say some stupid stuff in texts or facebook messenger, but I don't think I've ever had the urge to go to a forum and post when I'm drunk. Especially not polycount where I try to maintain a semi-professional vibe...
