I've been working on this character for some time. I'd be great to hear some critique. There is still a lot to do on this sculpt, also I'm planning on making a horse for him.
I've done research on the topic but it may not be too accurate historically.

Do you have a direction/flow map thrown on those fur pieces?

Looking very good! You should turn off backface culling for those fur pieces though, so it doesn't look like it's floating from behind.

@Brian: I didn't use flow map. I'm going to try and see what effect they give me. Thanks for suggestion.
@TheodorUrhed: Thanks. I didnt notice that. But I'm not sure, wouldn't it be more efficient to duplicate some of the plains and flip normals? That way only some parts are double sided.
