Technically they're pretty good but boy oh boy is that first image busy/noisy. Not sure if that's your own concept but it feels a bit "more detail, more, MOARR! MUHAHA". Which isn't always the best route.

First one could benefit greatly from a lighting pass to cut down on the visual noise mentioned by snader. Give the eye someplace to focus and rest. Give me an idea of where I should be looking.

@ Snader Haha thx, I know it is kind of noisy, did some unnecessary models and high poly baking so I tried best to hide some details with the lighting.

@ JMYoung I did variation of lighting pass and tried to focus it, it looked kind way too dark like pitch black so I added a strength .01 blue light to crisp the detail background a bit.

Hey Ricky,

Here is a quick paintover with some lighting ideas that I think would be easy to implement. The easiest thing would probably be to add 2 different height fogs to your udk scene. Anyway its just a suggestion that I think would help the scene while still retaining all of the detailing.

@ futurepoly Ah great idea, thanks! The engine I'm using is UDK, had fog before but not height fog. Is it created from fog volume? Guess I will dig up some good fog tutorials

Use the Expontional heightfog

You set can 2 different colours in its properties

I like the color balance of your scifi piece. I recognized this work from the AICASD Portfolio show. Great job.

Sorry for the late progress of the fog. My computer UDK's Post Processing doesn't look right. I probably will have to sneak back to school, one of the week days to add the fog in. Will Update asap

Its good, good texturing, but the lab-cryo-chamber is too busy. i would take it easy on some parts.
