Zbrush: Sculpting tileable *non-square* textures

I've got some large sandstone cliff faces I'm working on right now that are going to have to tile both directions, but to break up the repetition well enough, they need to be 2:1 (2048x1024).

I've been partying with Wrap Mode in Zbrush on some other tileables for this level, but it doesn't want to work properly with non-square dimensions. Instead of wrapping according to the mesh's local dimensions, it's tiling as if it's 1:1, even with Wrap Mode set to only 1.

Any pointers? Photoshopping it isn't going to produce nearly as good of results as I'm hoping for.
