Hi all, this is my first thread.
I'd like to show you something recent about modular stuff.

Here's some images illustrating hi/low poly assets(Marmoset Toolbag + Zbrush screengrabs) and the complete scene in UDK (8 shaders - diffuse, normal, specular, emissive @ 2048 + 2 materials from Epic)

I'd like to hear some advices before moving to the final texture pass.

The modularity is good and working fine. As a set of modular buildings they work great. But if you're creating a disaster scene, it looks really clean. You've got a fallen bridge and there's no dust piles, all the buildings around it are really clean and there's no sign of this place having been... lived in. It's like a blank slate, it's got very little character, little personality. What you do have in terms of character is a fallen bridge. Use that, expand upon that theme, who, what, when, where, why and how? Earthquake? Military Strike? Structural collapse? Terrorism?

What you have looks good in technical terms but in terms of style, it's bland. You have a great base to expand upon that, now give it some character and it'll turn out great!
