I want to have a try on this. I'm not good at hand drawing, so I directly blocked out the basic shapes for my idea in Maya. I plan to add eyes on top of the mouth and also carved-in illuminated patterns for the ring and the ball in the mouth, but I'm not really sure about them yet.

I liked it better with just the mouth. Too much with the eyes. Also you can make the main blade sticking out more if you like. Seems there was no problem with it going outside the bounding box a bit. I guess it would be an advantage since it would cleave the ground a bit as well.

Thanks a lot AimBiz,that's helpful input! I agree with you, those eyes are too much. And we can get out of the box a little is good news! I think I might adjust the blade a little more later!

Yea I agree with aimbiz. The blade follows the shape of the eye too closely and doesn't stand out very well. Not that I am saying that you need to go nuts with its proportions, but give it a little love. Also, the eye inside the mouth is too much. And my last suggestion would be to concentrate your wrapping of the organic material to be focused on the areas with divits. Rather than putting them all over, make it seem that this demon has latched itself to this weapon, and is holding on for dear life : ) awesome model, so many good axes!

Yeah, I kind of like that unnatural feeling of the eye inside the mouth. Thanks for the suggustions,Spug! I'll rework the blade and the wraps!

Update. Not sure whether I still need to work on the shape of the blade a little more....

Yeah its hard to say, I mean you could make room for some decals on the blade, I would suggest some type of Demonic Runes, that may possibly have something to do with the eye.

The eye is AWESOME!

Oh for just a suggestion, you could elaborate more with the demon vines a bit more, maybe you could have it spread an then thin out as it reaches out.

Got busy with other things and didn't get the time to work on this. I'll just go with this and maybe adjust some details and colors and maybe work a little decals at most...
