I quite like the boney hands on number 10 but the overall shape is lacking. Perhaps combine it with 12.

I really like the #4 on the first sketch. I love the face/ hair design. I was thinking something similar for a mace if I get my axe done.

i did more sketching to get the shape that look good to start working on
well. i think i would start working on 3d shape after this

at this stage i start building my model in to 3d form (roughly) just to see overall shape of this design.
- the hand doesnt stand out at the front view
- from the back , it looks too plain
- overall design are too plain

a lot need to be changed.

as my design was too plain before, im going to add more thing on the head of the axe to make it more filled and interesting.
