Volume DDS in Maya viewport? Possible?

Hey guys,

I wanted to try to utilize an Unreal styled LUT color grading feature on a shader level using CGFX for the Maya Viewport.

I have the shader feature working properly in Mental Mill, but all I get is black colors in Maya. Now I'm curious if this could be an issue with Maya supporting/reading volume DDS. Has anyone tried volume DDSs in Maya or knows anything about it?
