Hey everyone, I've been working on this on and off for a couple months and I finally found the time to work on my project. I think there's enough content to move on to critiques so I can tweak the model before I get started on the low poly version.

This is my first real shot at high-poly modeling, as the majority of my projects since starting school have involved low-poly modeling with no need for normal maps.

By all means, tear my shit apart! haha :)

    You're doing pretty well for your first real high poly model. Some of your edges could be softened so you can make use of your normal map more (even though you aren't going to make one, but for future reference). Second if this gun is for a fps game, it won't clearly have as much interest as it should because the side of the gun is really flat compared to that of a realistic gun.

    This time around I will be making a normal map from this. The model isn't for a game or anything at this point. I'm just going off the concept but I agree it's a pretty un-busy weapon.
