I am not sure if this is the right section to post this, but something weird is going on. This morning I was on Google looking up some references, when one of the pictures i clicked on brought me to one of those virus sites that says you're computer is infected. I immediately used task manager to close the process of internet explorer and Firefox. I then went ahead and restarted my comp. I re-opened 3ds max, and get this:
Tried a bunch of different methods off of YouTube, but to none seem to have helped. (my computer is no infected, and everything works normally btw, apart of 3ds)
Greatly appreciate and help!
btw, this is what I have done so far:
Tried to use a different graphic starter *ex; GL/software..*
Tried a clean re-install of 3ds max 2012

Have you tried reinstalling max? Have you tried contacting Autodesk support? Did ya post on "the Area"?

You might want to just move it some place else since it contains a lot of the customized UI info. It's also the only folder that hangs around after you uninstall... I think :poly132:
My computer went a bit more wonky, so I did a 24 hour reformat. Should work now.
