Maya to Max : export questions (fbx and materials)

Hello,

I currently working on maya for doing my modeling. But this is a school project, I need to do a render in Max with material correctly set up.
I use the fbx for exporting all my object with their materials.
I get two problems :

Problem 1 : Inverted normals/faces

I have a wall which are invisible in max, but visible in the render, why ?
It look fine in maya, and my normals are good... I don't understand...

Problem 2 : No materials in max
My materials in maya are good, but they are not here in max :

What I don't understand is how 3Dsmax can show my materials without... materials ! O_o




My fbx options are the default settings.

    Spicypixel polycounter lvl 6
    Use the selection tool next to the normal selection tool on the new material editor, allows you to pick an object in the scene and 'suck' the material from it into the editor.
    Don't know what to call it off hand, the paint picker? pipette?

    For the invisible object : I tried the Tools > Align > Normal Align. No change.
    I can pick the material, I can assign it on the mesh, but no change.

    Problem fixed, it was a mistake from myself !
    My paperwall shader in maya had an alpha channel. I didn't notice that at the beginning because Maya didn't showed it. I just redo my material and no more problem in Max.
