Does anyone here work there, or know someone who does? They were working on this amazing shooter/mmo thing, but not a mmo powered by the offset engine, the one that Intel bought then it died.

I just wanted to know because Project Offset was something I waited for and it got canceled, then I heard the engine was in use which made me happy .

I think the original creators of offset are working on something new, I wonder what it is.

Oh and I think they are hiring, soo... get on it. ahaha

I know their community relations guy, and apparently they're actively looking for environment artists. It's an interesting project and they've certainly made good progress with the Offset engine and building something more substantial than a bunch of tech demos. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they come up with.

I suppose I should apply for that position as well, but I'd hate to relocate to California and leave all this wonderful snow behind

I don't think we're hiring enviro guys anymore. I could be wrong on that, but I know we just filled the one position we were interviewing for. That shouldn't stop anyone from enquiring with Jeff our recruiter though - jeff@red5studios.com

Our engine has offset roots basically. That's about all I can say on that.

Sounds good man, I joined the beta/forum. Hope you guys are doing good financially because I really want this one to come out.

Do you know what will happen to the engine? Now that Intel owns it? I hope they don't just throw it away :poly127:
