i've often wondered why they have not came up with a way to gps tag infants with some small tracking software, maybe the techs not quite that good yet, but should be soon, i imagine that would cut kidnappings down to a really small percentage, like human lowjack. imagine your kid goes missing you phone the company they bring it up on screen an tells you or police exactly where the kid is.
They do have bracelets at the local hospital here that if it comes unbuttoned it sets an alarm off in the hospital letting them know the baby has been "taken". They are also gps enabled
