Just me? Every time I try to post it says wait 30 seconds. Most people do, then hit submit again which means, extra post.
I assume more than me are affected since I see a bunch of double posts in every thread. Just wanted to say that. *cough*

Its taking a min or so to post (though im not getting any double posts yet) and i have not been getting the email notification either :S
I am also having a followed up problem, like if I wait for 30 seconds and than click submit it will show me that I have to wait for another 23 seconds. When the post passes through, it shows the previous post that I have posted (I had to go back and *remove* them)
Polycount will say wait 30 seconds, ignore that and just wait.
Your post should go through on it's own after about a minute. Open a new browser tab/window to confirm it before you close the "wait 30 seconds" one if you're worried about losing your post.
Otherwise I suppose it's a good a method as any to crank up your post count, how else are we going to keep up with ZacD
We did do some work on the server yesterday that would have caused these types of problems if you tried to post during that time. But the really intensive DB work we did lasted maybe 10 mins.
If the double postings are still happening, then we definitely need to know. If this was all yesterday, well... sorry about that.

EDIT: AHA! Found out that if you press advanced reply, and just wait it out, it works without any "Dont repost, bitch" screens coming up..
Maybe that can help with the troubleshooting

Everyone, if you just hit post, go to another tab and do something else. It seems to take maybe 4 to 5 minutes to even show up as anything posted.

Why didn't anyone post it here then? That going around the quickreply works, somewhat slowly though.
Make sure that if you are trying to delete, that you check the box "delete message" or else it will not do anything.
Otherwise we'll have to look into how this feature got removed.

and this post took about 3 minutes to get up... i almost opened my computer case to look for the phone modem... circa aol or something.
oh, and i haven't receieved one of those spam PMs yet, so i don't know if that is connected with this or not, but just an FYI or whatever.
