Yep. Time for a brand new installment of ULTIMATE INSPIRATION!. The plan is we link the most awesome images possible related to the category in the title.
I have currently been bit by the handpainting bug (Thanks to an art test i did) and I love it. I know you guys do to. Why shouldn't you? It's tons more fun than awesome superfancy photorealism-normalmap-shader-wahhoooo.
Anyway. Here's some inspiration from me. I'd love to see more. I'll post more later.
Psychonauts, Image isn't the best but you should check it out. It's worth it's weight in space-gold.
Anything from this game. One of the most visually stunning and well directed art styles ever. Their art director should get mad amounts of cookies.

The hotness of Showdown 2100 A.D., only the greatest, most moving home console game ever released. You can really hear the plight of the android cowboys as the move about the screen, firing their ricochet prone bullets in a tree filled, brown hell.
