Maya 2009: eyedropper hotkey?

I'm having trouble hotkeying the eyedropper / colorpicker in Maya's 3D Paint Tools.

I've pulled "art3dPaintCtx -e -pickValue `currentCtx`;" from the script editor, but it doesn't seem to work properly. Help would be much appreciated.
