Yeah, but we all know how badass Terminators are, and let's face it - if you did survive the initial blasts and subsequent fallout, it'd be like rolling a D20 on the random mutations table!
I dont know. I think Robot Overlords can be defined in a variety of ways more than Terminator. From Matrix to Cyberpunk. Who knows, maybe they could make more rational decisions than our current. And wont decide to use the human race as joint grease.
Anyhow, I think of robot overlords via Deus Ex with the option to join with Helios and becoming a new god.
Oh, and where was the option of Zombie infestation?

If it's robot enslaving, than it could be really powerful robots that make it really hard to rebel, it could be mind-fuck, out-of-body expereinces like in the Matrix, or yeah, I guess it could be hot robot chicks, but still, where does that leave me?
With post-apocalyptic, you KNOW what you're getting. It won't be pretty, but at least you can smash windows on weapon depots and grab your weapon of choice. And hey, if you're lucky, the nuclear mutation will be cool, like a third arm or superpowers!

Well a little over a year ago the total computing power on the internet was greater than that of one human brain. By now it should be close to or over the power of two human brains... by 2025 it should be greater than the total population of the US.
Robot Overlords. I like the different possiblities of it. plus I am much more of a whore for sci-fi than simple post-nuclear holocaust stuff. Besides, we probably would have all died in said apocalypse. At least if we just get overlords we have a better chance of staying alive. And yeah, you don't know how strong their grip is. They could be benevolent overlord robots like armies of asimos and hot chicks. You could get robotic implants and become a cyborg and maybe be let into their robotic society. If they were evil overlords you could always escape or rebel and live in a shitty colony somewhere which would be a lot like the pose-holocaust stuff anyway.
