I lost maximum resolution in my second monitor

whats up guys.
I recently moved and after I set up my computer I realized that I can't set my second monitor to the maximum resolution It can go to. My display properties only allow it to go to 1024 X768 when I know for a fact it's max settings is 1280 X 1024 ( or something in that ball park). I've tried to adjust all the properties and have even switched the DVI cables around on the video card but I get the same results.
I'm pretty sure nothing else has changed on the system beyond some windows updates.
Anyone have this issue before?
I can give more specs on my system if necessary.

****edit*** well, i switched back the DVI cables, and I also had a drive update for my video card that i installed. Now I got my resolution back!! cool.
