Mudbox and my graphics card

hi all,


I'm currently trying to get mudbox 2009 to work on my Dell XPS laptop. I have a GeForce 8600M GT with 256 megs of ram. I have the latest driver for my card, and the service pack 1 for mudbox.

I am using vista 32bit (which is gay).


when I fire up mudbox, everything looks fine. I click on the head icon and a 3D head appears, with no problems at all.

Then I left click onto the face and it is making bumps the way it should. So far, so good. As soon as I release the button Mudbox crashes. It has done this consistently now at least 10 times in a row.

Any ideas? Or is it just impossible to use Mudbox 2009 on a Dell XPS?

well I have the same graphics card( different machine though) and it worked only after I

updated the drivers at laptop to go using the modified inf

hey guys, I got it working. I reinstalled vista and cleared my harddrive. It rolled my GPU driver back a year and I guess this driver is compatible with mudbox.
