Here at Polycount we have a dedicated forum for all the technical talk related the tools of our trade. It's located here.
I'm not trying to be Mr. Grumpy, but could we please try and keep all the discussions about 3D/2D applications and other tools and techniques to that forum? It's an invaluable source of information and by keeping it all in the right place it's easier to go back and look for it when we need it.
What with search being as wonky as it is, it doesn't help spreading it all over the place. And lately there's been perhaps a bit too much of this leaking into General Discussion.. Or maybe I'm exaggerating?

Agreed about the other two, though. It's just that I don't see 'waaah, waaah, max is dumb lol' fitting the description of 'invaluable information'.
