polygon counter

i kno u can press 7 and get a polygon count but how do u get the counter in 3ds max '09? i tried looking under more in the utilities but its not there

You have to right click on the viewport name (top, left, etc) and go to properties on that. Then there's some options in there for statistics or something like that.
