6x Sci-Fi Sentryguns for unreal mutator

i got drafted to do some scifi sentry guns for a ut3 mutator made by MR Evil :

its 6 weapons in total attached to a rotator and 2 bases one for the floor and one for the ceiling so here comes sci fi busyness extra extravaganza:

those are the highpolys for the normal maps they are between 200.000 - 300.000 each

the lowpolys are at roughly 800 each

800? Thats a little low for UT3, isnt it? Those models have quite a lot of complex geo, I cant imagine seeing them being any lower than 1.5k?

well each sentrygun is made form 3 parts so that would be 800x 3

i find the presentation of the guns somehow exhausting, stuff overlaps at random (heh i even thought it was one part..), the forms dont read well - maybe its just me, but i really think they do need some space...

they are somwhat too bloomy and i toned down the saturation too

Those look great ingame, the design of them fits in perfectly with the UT3 universe.

My only tiny crit is that the blue glow is quite even between all the pictures, maybe some variation in the strength would change that.

Those are looking great! The warped take on the minigun is really cool. The guns describe what they do in their appearance but, As for the circular design on the most recent render (bottom left) what does it do?

wow these are dope. I love the design plus the texture is neutral enough to let it blend nicely into the environment with the lighting color. nice work.

Looks very good ingame, would like to see better highpoly renders though, kind of hard to read that picture with the highpolys
