Hey everyone, here's Count Gareth, crits are appreciated! I've got him rigged but too tired to pose him too much ATM.

    I like it.

I'm still a beginner but I have one crit. The shape of his upper armour section doesn't seem to flow very well with the rest of the model. It juts out abruptly like a bib :> If there were some more angled shots I could visualise it better.

mhm id say the colors are looking sort of "stiff".
its all pure one tone with no variations. i suggest
to put a layer above it and tone around a bit.
did u create this in greyscale and then made it colored!?
the least unbelievable color is his face. the shadows
are too black. i mean no color in there...

maybe rethink the whoe color sceme. it looks not very thought through.
if this is medievil... maybe make the armor more grey brownisch.
kick up the red to be really red or somethign ... its not in harmony to me
of course if ud through in some colored lights in the scene everything would
    come together a bit more

Riv3t: Thanks, yeah I kinda was lazy with the rigging, I'll make it so it doesn't jut out so much when he bends.

qubism: thanks for all the crits; I was going for a muted color scheme, I actually made it all in color but then desaturated it quite a bit. So I'll play around with the colors, and definitely I want to play with lighting my scenes better, right now I'm using pretty limited tools :)

    Thanks!
