weird mudbox issue

Ok this is really pissing me off...i have this model i am sculpting and everytime i press subdivide it hangs in 90% and crashes ...so i opened in max and subdivided there...now if i want to subdivide again crashes again at 90% , its really annoying...

I had a similar issue once. I uninstalled and deleted any left over files and re-installed and it seemed to work. Are you on the mudbox forums? maybe they could help more. They always suggest getting the latest video drivers and updating mudbox as much as possible but youve probably done this stuff.

I would try rebooting, deleting your Mudbox config folder and give it a try again. Additionally try subdiving a different mesh through mudbox and see if your current mudbox file isn't corrupt or something.
