Digital Painting Help

Hi there! I never really post here, much... the truth is, I've never tried digital painting before, but I've aways wanted to do it. So here's the first EVER digital painting I've ever done. Please help me and critique me and rip me appart, and if you can, please show me any digital painting tutorials and what-not. I haven't been able to find many online.

Nice start, keep working on it! I'd suggest you work on lighting, colours and contrast, since you seem to have the basic forms down fine. At the moment it's lacking any highlights, and the flesh is looking very yellow, for human skin.

Ryno, MoP I can't tell you how much those tutorials just helped me out.

Nina, you're off to a good start what you have there is better than my first attempt. Kudos for having a good point and a good grasp of the tools. But, like all art, there are a few things you need to work on.

- Flesh tone, as mentioned already you need to move away from yellow and think more pinkish.
- Try to work off of an outline, it always help me to get pieces in the right places.
- I did a color change and drew an outline that points out some of the changes I would make. I went a little extreme with some of the lines so I wouldn't following exactly, but it should give you some good referance points to shoot for
