MujtabaYousuf polycounter lvl 3
Hi guys.
So i am back after a long time. I wanted to dive into sculpting again so now I am sculpting a monster. Currently, I have done the face but i needed some technical tips like when I am sculpting a face, the polycount goes upto 7 million polygons so then i have to lower dynamesh value to work but still causes a lot of lag. What to keep in mind while sculpting etc just throw at me any thing you guys know.
Thanks!

Start quite low res with dynamesh and make sure your large and medium shapes read well, silhouette, proportions, anatomy etc.
Redynamesh and refine until you need to go into small shapes, which is when you skip dynamesh, do a zremesh and reproject.
Proceed to subdivide and refine your model one subdiv step at a time, each division focusing on smaller and smaller details, while also refining your previous shapes where necessary.
A face shouldn't be a 7mill before you're ready for minute details like pores.
If your face looks bad at a lowish polycount, it will look bad at 7 mill.
