[solved] MayaLT/Photoshop: Texture Atlas

I finished modeling a food set a while ago and I wanted to optimize it by having the textures be in one large texture atlas of all the textures, rather than several of large texture files.
The issue is I have no idea where I should start, or how I would go upon doing it?

Some concerns I had are:
  • I don't want the model UVs to be ruined
  • I want to keep it similar to how this video did it
  • If I were to do it manually what are some good ways to go upon doing so?
I use Photoshop and MayaLT 2017 for reference, thank you for your time!
If I have to do it manually, please feel free to give me tips! I'll also leave an image of the textures itself and how they're aligned.
