Motionbuilder anim question

Hey,

I have a quick question:

I'm planning to take some mocap data and create cycles out them using motionbuilder. Stuff like idle, walk, jog, etc. I plan to then take these into Unreal and hook them up. I also plan to present them in my reel on it's own in MoBu and in-engine.

Important to note is all the actions will have a weapon parented to both hands.

So should I create the cycles in separate takes/files and use Story Mode to have them play one after another with no blending. How will it handle the weapon parent if have a walk with a weapon in the character's hands and then I import another scene that has a jog with a weapon parent. Will it cause issues? Will there be multiple weapons?

Same applies for Unreal. When you're importing multiple anims with weapon parents into Uneal, how does it handle having only one weapon parent across all anims?
