3DSMax 2018 Dual Monitor Issue

This is a minor issue, but it is driving me crazy.  My studio just recently opted to upgrade to max 2018, and I am having trouble forcing max to stay on my secondary display. Every time I open max it want's to open full screen on my primary display. So then I have to click window mode, drag the software to the left screen and click full screen mode again. 
I have made sure to put max in the correct location and exit the software form the file menu, but it still opens in the wrong spot...

Anyone know of a fix for this?

I don't think this is limited to Max, a lot of my applications seem to open on whichever monitor they find most convenient. Such is life on Windows. I even have one that switches monitors depending on what mode it's in.


Anyway, you might find a third party piece of software like DisplayFusion handy, it forces applications to certain monitors. Disclaimer: I haven't used it, try research it a little.
