What's the best process for releasing PDF tutorials?

Hey guys,

I'm currently writing up a PDF tutorial for a shoes asset I made a while ago. What is best practice when releasing such a thing.
Would I house it on Gumroad as a free downloadable PDF? Then link it to things like ArtStation and Facebook?
or keep it on ArtStation and distribute like that?
I also have a time lapse video id like to accompany it.

Hi,
The goal would to be to get broader coverage as an artist. It's something I've seen and appreciated so would love to contribute.

I think gumroad is a good option. You won't have to worry about hosting the files yourself, and people will be able to give you a few bucks if they want to.

You could also upload the content of the pds as images on artstation, and link the timelapse video from youtube.

If it's a free PDF, then make sure that it can be seen by just clicking a direct link. Putting it behind any kind of login (even free) will cost you viewers.

Why not make JPG tutorials ? Imgur, Pinterest, Artstation, Tumblr, Deviantart, and what not can easily share them.
