Telltale Games makes award-winning, narrative-driven games set in the popular worlds of The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and Minecraft! These successful properties demand a premium user interface, and the UI team at Telltale needs your help designing world class user experiences across multiple platforms.
Telltale is looking for a user experience pro, with a relentless drive to offer the best experiences for our players.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong UX portfolio, and expertise basing design proposals and UI refinements on field data and user testing.
The Director of UX will lead a talented team of designers responsible for gameplay UI, HUDs and front-end systems.

Responsibilities:
- Manage team of UI artists and UX designers to deliver high quality design for more than 10 game releases per year.
- Establish and evangelize UX and usability principles and guidelines.
- Set standards for design quality and drive the team to deliver world class results.
- Manage user testing programs and post-launch customer experience audits
- Benchmark our digital experiences vs. competitors.
- Use fact-based analysis and diagnostic techniques to develop insights and recommendations.
- Analyze "voice of the customer" (VOC) and behavioral information to understand why customers are satisfied/dissatisfied, along with their attitudes, motivations etc. to develop deep insights into customer needs and behaviors.
Requirements:
- Several years of experience managing a UI or design team.
- A portfolio that shows strong skills UI flow, Layout/Composition, Typography, and Iconography.
- Demonstrated success in adapting designs for multiple platforms (e.g., consoles, mobile devices, PC games, web)
- Hands-on experience with animation and motion graphics.
- Lua scripting experience highly preferred.
