(WIP) - Space Fighter - Moving into Details

Hello All,

I was hoping to get some critique and advice on a ship that I've been working on. I personally like the general shapes that I've created but I'm having a hard time moving into details. I have a few reference saved but just can't find a way to fill the gaps on my mesh. Are there any tips you can share on how to improve with coming up with ideas?

I've been trying to follow the MIchael Pavlovich method of sculpting > retopo > dynamesh > details but my issue is that I can't seem to generate the same shapes he does without losing a lot of detail because of dynamesh.
