Hello polycount forums,
So I'm trying to get back into the loop after practically giving up on art because of self doubt etc etc.
ANYWHO I decided to sketch a troll since they're my favorite horde race. This was just a little warm up.
I will try to post as much as I can during the week for the sake of tracking my progression!

This is a good start.
You can work a bit more with the contrast and light, getting some nice shadows and highlights in there will make it pop a lot more

Did a retouch of my troll. I added in some more darks and highlights.

Also started a study of one of my favorite pieces from my favorite artist Laurel D. Austin.
I chose her work in particular because I love her use of color in all of her pieces.
I'm trying to make my work look less saturated.

Critiques are welcome for both pieces.
