Senior 3D Animator

What it’s about
Are you an experienced Animator with a background in the gaming industry and experience and passion for animating game characters? Are you passionate about gaming?
We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for you to become part of our growing team of artists at Stunlock Studios. Here at Stunlock Studios, we are developing competitive and community driven games, always with the players in focus. We are looking for a passionate animator to work with animation of ingame characters and assets.
What you will do
- Create combat and movement animations for real-time characters.
- Collaborate with VFX, SFX and Design teams when creating abilities.
- Work closely with the in-game engine and the animation system.
- Create expressive animations for characters, such as victory celebrations.
- Be a mentor, give input and spread your knowledge to other animators in the studio.
What we’re looking for
Essential
- Documented experience working in the gaming industry for several years as an animator
- Real passion for animation of characters
- Expertise in 3D animation software (Maya)
- Excellent knowledge of animation principles
- Experience in creating stylized/cartoony animations
- Ability to create expressive and emotive animations
- Basic understanding of rigging
Desirable
- Experience working in Unity 3D
- Good understanding of the Battlerite visual style
