How to govern material direction in Painter

model

Hey guys!

I'm working on this mirror model. It has a rim running around it which is made of aluminum. I want to have the brushing run with the model (circular). Is there a way I can make this happen in Substance painter?

    your best bet is to UV it appropriately and change your brush settings so they work in UV space.  

    it'd be  a relatively straightforward thing to build in designer  if you have it - personally I'd do it in there rather than  painter but I have the luxury of owning both packages.
