Removing textures from shelf

Hey guys!

I've searched everywhere for how to remove my imported textures from the shelf, but on every site, it always comes down "File-Clean", which doesn't work. The textures just stay on the shelf. It literally does nothing.
I've also looked for them in the Allegorythmic folder of Program Files, to no avail. They simply don't seem to be anywhere in there. Why can't I just select them in Substance and hit DEL? This is how stuff works in every other program...
Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but after 2 hours of searching, I'm at the end of my patience!

It sounds like your texture is still in use somewhere in the layer stack? Otherwise using "clean" should ideally be working.

Hi,

The default shelf is located here:

• Windows : C:\Users\*username*\Documents\Substance Painter 2\shelf\
• Mac OS : Macintosh > Users > *username* > Documents > Substance Painter 2 > shelf
• Linux : /home/*username*/Documents/Substance Painter 2/shelf

To add or remove simple delete from that location.

When you right-click on a ressource you can see where it's located. This means you can see if the ressource is in the project or in you shelf on the disk. In the future that might help identify its source.

I still cant find it... i own substance painter through steam.

You need to restart the Substance Painter after you hit clean button.Took me while to find it.
